Giant Joke

The San Fransico Giants are in last place in the NL West. They are trailing Arizona by 13 games. All their fans care about is the record. Some of Barry's fellow teammates are calling him the worst teammate in the league. Nobody is paying attention to the other players or the team's record. Barry finally hit number 755 yesterday. He is known to be a jerk to the media and is suspected of steroids. Nobody except San Francisco fans like Bonds or is happy he broke the record. And I can't blame them

  1. Hey, I saw your post on the message board and wish you luck on your sports blog.

I'm also a sports blogger, and I humbly disagree with your opinion. Most fans are unhappy with Bonds and the home run record, but if you watched the Padres fans' reaction, you can see that most of them truly appreciated the moment. I had a post about this on my blog.

I also disagree with your assessment of Giants fans. If you ask any Giants fan, he or she will tell you that the season is done for and that the management should play the kids. A Giants fan will tell you that they wished Cain would get run support, Rajai Davis, Kevin Frandsen, and Freddie Lewis would get more playing time instead of Roberts, Durham, and Winn, etc. I think it's kind of unfair that you make Giants fans sound like simpletons.

  2. I like him.

Performance enhancing drugs or not, he quite possibly could be the greatest ball player of this era.

Please read my article on the subject: http://blog.pennlive.com/philadelphiasports/2007/08/756.html
